Abrasive blasting is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface, or remove surface contaminants. A pressurized fluid, typically air, or a centrifugal wheel is used to propel the blasting material
There are different types of abrasive blasting like wet blasting, bead basting, wheel blasting, micro blasting, hydro blasting. This types of blasting helps to blast a impurities form a material as well as smoother the surfaces of the material . Depend upon the suitable blasting is used. For example for a aluminum material we cannot use a sand blasting because it will rough the material and displace the texture normally called as (bump) so we can use a hydro blaster for removing the impurities as well as cleaning.
Wet blasting is a process of removing the impurities of material using a hot water without affecting the material normally silicious is used in wet blasting. Bead blasting is a process of removing the surface deposit by applying a fine glass beads without affecting a surface or material it is used to remove a calcium from pools and fungus. Wheel blasting is a process of blasting or polishing a surface like rubber, steel and wood it has no liquid substance to blast generally it is welding shops. Hydro blasting is a process of removing a oil paint and impurities of the surface normally a stream of water blasting into the surface and cleaning the surface we can also reuse a water so there is no wastage is reduced.
